Last year the good folks at Concrete Playground decided they quite liked our blog. They rewarded us with free flights and free accommodation in Sydney.

We took the opportunity to drink gin by the pewl, argue about the state of society and how to change it, play backgammon and discuss ideas around an exhibition we're going to do later in the year.

There were trips to the beach, the arts festival and a cameo on a late night radio show, which thanks to the insides of a box of wine Joe may or may not remember (you were hilarious, Joe).

There were obviously incidents like meeting a meth-dealer pimp and his pony tail, creating an alphabet of Australian slang that would make the internet blush or being woken up by the hotel manager at 6am:

"You can't sleep by the pool, mate."

Fair enough.

We might leave those tales for another time. Like over a glass or two of red at Splore.
