I'm getting an iPhone tomorrow.

I've resisted for a long time. Partly because they were expensive, partly because I wasn't adult enough to look after one and partly because I was afraid of what it would do to me.

God, it sounds like I've been putting off raising a child.

Anyway the time has come.

I'm going to be 'online' at all times like most of my friends and all of my co-workers.

I'll try hard not to become even more self-absorbed than I already am and I'll do my best not to turn into a highly functioning social retard.

But there are of course no guarantees.

I will keep you posted.
